About the role
Paddington Clinic is seeking a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team. Working from our modern clinic in Paddington, Queensland, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to our diverse client base, helping them manage pain, improve mobility, and enhance their overall wellbeing.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct thorough client consultations to assess individual needs and develop personalised treatment plans
* Perform a range of remedial massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
* Maintain detailed client records and follow all clinic policies and procedures
* Contribute to the ongoing development and promotion of the clinic's massage therapy services
What we're looking for
* Diploma or degree in Remedial Massage Therapy or equivalent
* Pregnancy massage qualification, desirable
* Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Remedial Massage Therapist in a clinical setting
* Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and the principles of remedial massage
* Proven ability to assess clients, develop tailored treatment plans, and deliver effective massage therapy
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for natural healthcare
* Current Professional Indemnity Insurance and maintain relevant Health Fund Provider Numbers
* Current First Aid Certificate and professional association membership
