Job Overview
The Waste & Resource Recovery Park is a complex, fast-paced commercial operation with strict environmental standards and a focus on continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of operatives, operating heavy plant, and ensuring safe, efficient civil works and landfill activities.
* Managing operational teams in a dynamic environment with variable conditions.
* Operating and overseeing multiple types of heavy plant and machinery.
* Coordinating civil works, landfill operations, and earthmoving activities.
* Driving operational improvements through strong leadership and effective change management.
* Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards and environmental regulations.
* Providing high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Conducting daily site inspections and equipment maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:
* Manage and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
* Oversee the operation and maintenance of heavy plant and machinery.
* Coordinate the planning and execution of civil works, landfill operations, and earthmoving activities.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
Requirements:
