Project Manager/Civil Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Civil Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across NSW, applying essential engineering expertise and managing resources effectively.
This role will provide you with exposure to various activities, including client-facing project management, internal design project management, engineering assessment, stakeholder management, and construction phase tasks.
You will work as part of the team, with guidance from senior engineers and support from specialist engineering designers and technical leads, to ensure all projects are completed in accordance with relevant standards, specifications, and drawings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing client-facing Development Application and Subdivision Works Certificate project management tasks for the delivery of land development and infrastructure-related projects.
* Developing and maintaining project programs, budget, and delivery timelines to ensure profitability and liaising with relevant stakeholders as required.
* Preparing and updating civil engineering documentation, including design reports, cost estimates, specifications, tender documentation, programs, and schedules.
* Applying civil engineering knowledge to various works, which may include engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support engineering projects related to land development and infrastructure.
* Performing site supervision and quality control inspections of civil infrastructure and land development projects, including adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and Local/State Government standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
* Minimum 3 years of working experience in project management, civil engineering, and/or site supervision of land development and civil infrastructure projects.
* Engineers Australia Membership or eligibility.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the interpretation of civil drawings, specifications, and application of relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
* Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-driven with proven experience in time management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively.
