Assembly Supervisor Job Description
Lead a team of trades to supervise planned works, workshop labour and materials for scheduled, unscheduled and emerging work.
* Assist with rosters, and job activities to minimize delays and contract costs.
* Ensure accurate and detailed information is provided for scoping and estimating job/project costs and timeframes.
* Reviewing completed works and ensuring all documentations are completed, stored, and in place to reflect the progress, variations, additional costs, program delays.
* Completing all necessary time sheets to reflect the employees, durations, break-up between the various jobs.
* Attending meetings to resolve or report issues and progress related to the work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Qualification in Engineering or trade discipline with a minimum experience of 5 years in the steel or similar industry.
* Sound supervisory and leadership skills.
* Sound understanding of the Recognised Service Facility inspection & repair process.
* Physically fit to meet the requirements of the role.
* Strong awareness and adherence to Safety & Wellbeing practises to ensure you and your teammates are safe at all times about Health & Safety.
