We are currently seeking motivated and skilled individuals for a range of exciting opportunities.
Mount Isa | Cloncurry & Surrounds
Rosters available for these roles vary (days and nights) 7:7 | 2:2 | 2:1 | 8:6 | 4:4
Flights from Cairns, Townsville, or Brisbane to Mount Isa are provided for Eligible positions.
To be successful in the role:
- Hold a valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence (unrestricted).
- Be able to obtain a low-risk medical and pass random D&A; testing.
- Hold the relevant High Risk Work Licence and trade certifications (as applicable to your role).
- Robust focus on safety, communication, and teamwork.
- Prior mining operations experience is highly regarded.
- Availability to start ASAP.
- Commitment to attending all required inductions, training, and medicals.
- Demonstrate proven experience in your chosen field
- Production Drilling – proven experience operating Sandvik rigs (DL42iE / DL422i) or Sandvik solo rig and/or Epiroc Simba.
- Cable Bolting – proven experience operating Sandvik DS421 or other Cable Bolting machines.
- Reach Stack Operation – valid HRWL and prior experience in heavy mobile plant.
- Mechanical / Fitter / Boilermaker Trades – trade qualified with experience in maintenance and repairs of mining equipment.
- Experienced Mine site Planner - Previous planning experience in Mount Isa essential, extensive experience using SAP, Microsoft suites, and Coupa. Be able to hit the ground running! Excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail a must!
- Experience in Production Drilling and Reach Stack Operations is specifically required for these positions.
Entry Level Mining (Mount Isa applicants only, FIFO not available) - No Experience required! Fixed plant operators, Matte Tappers, Store person, Labourers and more!!!!
