Overview
The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network is seeking Personal Care Workers for its CenSTaR Candidate Pool 2025/2026.
Locations: Balaklava, Booleroo Centre, Burra, Clare, Crystal Brook, Jamestown, Laura, Maitland, Minlaton, Orroroo, Peterborough, Port Pirie, Riverton, Snowtown, Wallaroo, Yorketown.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with bathing, showering, personal hygiene, dressing and grooming.
* Support toileting and continence management.
* Provide feeding assistance and maintain mobility through transferring and lifting, using mechanical aids.
* Perform bed making, clean equipment, aids, utensils and personal possessions.
* Distribute clean laundry and personal attire.
* Contribute to resident assessment, record observations and identify diversional therapy needs.
* Complete routine documentation in line with policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
* Criminal history check.
* Immunisation - Category A.
* NDIS Worker Check and National Police Certificate for work with vulnerable groups.
* Eligible for salary sacrifice benefits.
Benefits & Working Conditions
Salary $29.70 - $30.01 per hour plus 25% casual loading. Casual work available until 31 May 2026 (WHA4).
