About the Role
Primo Foods is seeking an experienced, dependable Storeperson to join our Engineering Spares team at our Wacol facility. This is a permanent, full-time role offering $28.50/hr, where you'll manage inventory, handle incoming shipments, and keep our stores organised and efficient.
This role offers a good balance of practical tasks and administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and values stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Control inventory activities day-to-day across Maintenance areas.
* Support Purchasing Coordinator as required with day-to-day purchasing activities
* Constantly review and optimise stock levels
* Complete monthly stocktake/cycle counts
* Check/receipt ordered stock and control despatch to internal employees
* Assist with end of month procedures
* Control store locations physically in SAP
* Keep accurate records in SAP
About you
* Previous experience in freight forwarding, warehouse operations or logistics.
* Experience with SAP Purchasing and end-to-end processes is preferred but not essential.
* Forklift licence preferable, not mandatory
* Demonstrated computer literacy in Excel, Word and Outlook
* Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-skill
* Excellent attention to detail
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
