About the Role This role reports into the Head of Product & Underwriting and leads the end-to-end management of the insurance portfolio, driving performance, governance and strategic prioritisation. It focuses on embedding robust portfolio frameworks, generating actionable insights and influencing stakeholders to prioritise initiatives that support financial sustainability. The role also provides leadership to the portfolio team, contributes to enterprise planning and investment decisions, and represents the function in key internal and external forums.Your duties and responsibilitiesLead and execute portfolio management frameworks, governance and performance monitoring routinesDrive portfolio strategy, prioritisation and cross‐functional alignment on key initiativesDeliver data‐driven insights and deep dives to inform decisions and optimise portfolio outcomesLead and develop the Portfolio team, ensuring high‐quality delivery and alignment to performance standardsSupport enterprise planning, budgeting and strategic projects, including business cases and executive level reportingAbout YouExperience working in the general insurance industry, with a solid understanding of the insurance value chain and profit & loss driversIndustry/business knowledge of the Australian General Insurance market (preferably with experience of Home, Motor and Commercial SME insurance)Demonstrated knowledge and experience of insurance portfolio monitoring, analysis and management approachesStrong data expertise (e.g., actuarial, statistical or data specialist background) with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate into business impactStrong leadership and people‐management skillsAustralian work rights are required for this position.A full background check will be completed on the successful applicant.#J-18808-Ljbffr
