You will be responsible for the architecture, development and delivery of ground control systems used for testing, flight operations and data analysis across multiple experimental platforms.
What you will be doing
• Lead and mentor a team of ground control and software engineers
• Own the design and evolution of ground control stations for fixed wing and multirotor UAVs
• Work closely with flight test, avionics, autonomy and systems teams
• Oversee mission planning, telemetry, command and control, and data visualisation tools
• Drive reliability, safety and usability for flight and test operations
• Support flight testing and debugging during ground and airborne trials
• Set technical direction and standards for ground control software
What we are looking for
• Strong experience with UAV ground control systems
• Background in aerospace, robotics or autonomous systems
