Position Details
Assumption Catholic Primary School is a vibrant, double‑stream co‑educational school from Pre‑Kindy to Year 6. Our learning community is inspired by our motto, "United in Christ." We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to lead our Junior Primary Science/STEM program.
Ideal Candidates

* Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude with a growth mindset and a desire to continue to improve.
* Strong understanding of the Western Australian and Australian Science Curriculum.
* Commitment to evidence‑based educational practices, particularly high‑impact instruction.
* Proven ability to plan collaboratively, implement whole‑school approaches consistently and take collective responsibility for students.
* Proficiency in ICT skills, especially iPads.
* A passion for Science.
* Actively contribute to the life of the school.
Qualifications Required
* Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of duties.
* Relevant four‑year tertiary qualification.
* Accreditation to Teach Religious Education Learning Area, or ability to achieve this accreditation.
