The Relationship Officer's key role is to provide credit and administrative support to the Relationship Executives and assist in developing relationships with new and existing customers by providing suitable financial solutions.

More specifically
**Reporting to the Head of NSW the position's key tasks include**: 
Assist Relationship Executives in generating loan approvals and deposits as specified in their budgets. 
Undertake credit and financial analysis in relation to personal and commercial loan transactions - including property development. 
Ensure that the quality of lending is maintained within Group guidelines.
Ensuring all loans are settled in a timely and accurate manner. 
Opening of new accounts and assisting the branch with customer enquiries. 
Processing of transactions as required. 
Actively promote the Banks products and services in the market place. 
Assist with managing daily overdrawn accounts. 
Assist with managing irregular accounts. 
Provide efficient and courteous service to customers for all enquires and maximise all relationship building opportunities. 
Identifying and referring business opportunities to the franchise. 
Carrying out a range of administrative duties within the office. 
Educate other staff where possible. 
Assist other team members as needed
**To be successful in this role you will have**: 
Bank RO Experience 
Proficient written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential. 
Demonstrates the ability to understand the dynamics of stakeholders and customers' needs and provide solutions. 
Strong customer service focus. 
Ability to work effectively under pressure, be highly organized, be able to priorities daily tasks and work to constantly improve and benefit the organisation. 
Proficiency in Optimist is highly desirable 
Microsoft Excel is desirable 
Ability to develop good working relationships with key stakeholders 
Experience in the Account Opening, Documentation Preparation, KYC / AML, Loan Settlement process and Portfolio Management 
Credit analysis skills, particularly in consumer and commercial lending 
FSRA Accreditation T2 - Deposit Taking and Non Cash Payment Facilities and General Insurance. 
A relevant tertiary qualification is an advantage but not essential
