Role Details:
We're seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our Adelaide Corporate Office and support the Group's HR strategy and operations.
Reporting to the Executive Director – Strategy and Governance, this role provides both strategic and hands-on leadership across HR governance, workforce planning, employee relations, organisational design, and leadership capability initiatives.
You'll partner with executives and site teams to deliver consistent, compliant, and high-performing HR outcomes across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement Group HR Strategies: Support the rollout of HR frameworks, policies, and systems ensuring alignment with business objectives and statutory compliance.
* Business Partnering: Collaborate with executives, site leadership, and HR teams to identify workforce needs, develop tailored people solutions, and enhance organisational capability.
* Employee Relations & Compliance: Provide expert advice on complex employee relations issues, investigations, and performance management, ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and company policy.
* Union and Industrial Engagement: Maintain productive working relationships with unions and employee representatives, support enterprise bargaining, manage disputes, and ensure consistent and lawful right-of-entry and consultation processes.
* Workforce Planning & Organisational Design: Drive workforce reviews, position evaluations, and change management programs that optimise structure, capability, and cost efficiency.
* Culture & Engagement: Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, leadership capability, and alignment with Perilya's values.
* HR Reporting & Analytics: Deliver accurate HR metrics, dashboards, and workforce insights to inform strategic decision-making at the Executive and Board level.
About You:
* Degree-qualified in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
* Minimum 5-7 years' HR experience, including senior advisory or management roles.
* Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, employment law, and industrial relations.
* Experience in unionised or heavily regulated industries, ideally mining or resources.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
