The Client:
A major international property services provider is seeking a Facility Manager to manage a busy retail portfolio. Based in Ballarat with occasioanal travel to smaller sites.
The Role:
Manage the facilities operations of three retail sites in Western Victoria
Permanent position with full time hours, working Monday to Friday
Occasional need to respond to emergencies after hours (not often)
Duties:
Manage daily FM operations
Day to day management of Ballarat site
Travel once per month to two other sites
Coordinate contractors to deliver FM services - cleaning, security, technical maintenance, waste management, pest control, landscaping and projects
Engage and manage performance of contractors
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships e.g. clients, owners, franchises, tenants, property manager, contracting staff etc.
Undertake planned preventative maintenance
Conduct safety and compliance audits
Conduct property inspections including cleaning and roof access
Criteria:
Experience in Facilities Management is essential
Experience in Retail is preferred
Good communication skills to liaise with many points of contact
Must have your own vehicle to visit smaller sites (kms expensed)
Be physically mobile to cover landscape and rooftop inspections
Police check is required
Benefits:
Salary up to $90 + Super + Phone
Monday to Friday business hours (adaptable)
