About The Role
The City's Infrastructure Maintenance Section has an opportunity for an innovative and motivated Crew Member to join one of the City's maintenance teams.
We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused individual with a good understanding of civil works to join our dynamic team.
The position involves fieldwork on the city's roads and footways and will include a range of labouring and plant operating activities related to civil maintenance.
Carry out any other duties as directed by Supervisors and/or Management to ensure effective and efficient delivery of repair and maintenance services.
To be successful you will need to be physically able to carry out labouring work, hold a current class C driver's licence, have basic IT skills and be willing to obtain in the first six months a MR licence, a TCP (Traffic Control Person) licence and an IMP (Implement Traffic Control Plan) licence.
The recommended applicant must complete a pre‐employment health declaration and medical assessment.
This role has the option of a rostered day off every two weeks, known as a 9‐day fortnight.
