Job Title: Theatre Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Theatre Technician to join our team at Sandringham Hospital.
This role will involve facilitating the safe and efficient passage of surgical patients through the Operating Rooms during the peri-operative period.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure theatre services are delivered in accordance with industry standards and organisational policies;
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required;
* Provide high-quality support to surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses during procedures;
* Develop and implement effective processes to improve efficiency and productivity in theatre operations;
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Essential:
* Certificate III or IV in Operating Suite Services Technical Support (or equivalent);
* Proven experience as a Theatre Technician (novices welcome to apply);
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Able to work independently and as part of a team;
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
