Current Openings:Start with the beginning of the school year!up to Year 10; expertise in HSC subjects is a plus.Knowledge of the HSC curriculum for Standard, Advanced, and Extension English/ Math is desirable.ability to work across areas of Science, including specialised subjects for HSC students.ability to tutor in both maths and English, with guidance across other subjects.This includes study skills and essay work across subjects.ability to work with students from Kindergarten to Year 6.Knowledge of scientific methods of correct teaching, or willingness to learn and mentor in this area.Ability to work with students from all year levels.Expert in using diagnostics to create specific learning programs for students.Open to working as a team with mentoring opportunities.All positions are face-to-face at our Mittagong centre. Please note, online tutoring positions are not available.

Who We’re Looking For:We value tutors who are kind, reflective, patient, and genuinely invested in student confidence, not just trying to raise marks. We tutors who are focused on building connections with our community, families and students.We are seeking self-motivated, passionate individuals who are eager to join our expanding team. Ideal candidates will:Be available for at least 2-3 afternoons of tutoring per week.Afternoons between 3:30–7:00pm (Mon–Fri)Minimum 2 terms commitment preferredBe able to work in-centre at our Mittagong Tutoring Centre.Hold a valid Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one.Work independently and as part of a team.Think “outside the box” to achieve the best educational outcomes for students.ATAR of 85+ and/or current or completed relevant university study.Be willing to participate in our tutoring mentoring program, where you will be supported by one of our experienced, qualified tutors.Competitive hourly rates based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct individual assessments.Prepare assessment and tutoring reports for parents.Communicate effectively with parents.Understand and apply the NSW curriculum.Engage with students, understand their learning needs, and develop tailored tutoring plans.Think outside the box regarding how to engage students.Basic online skills are beneficial.Work as part of a team.The ability to take on advice from experts in the field.
