About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Farm Operations Supervisor to join our growing production team at our Stanthorpe soft fruits facility. This hands‑on role is responsible for overseeing daily farm operations, coordinating staff and resources, and ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety across the site.

Key Responsibilities
Farm & Production Operations
* Supervise day-to-day operations of the soft fruits production facility, ensuring optimal planting, growing, and harvesting practices.
* Coordinate and lead production staff to achieve quality and productivity targets.
* Monitor crop health, irrigation, and environmental conditions, and report on performance metrics.
* Oversee and carry out chemical spraying activities in accordance with safety and compliance standards.
* Manage and perform general maintenance and repairs of farm equipment, infrastructure, and irrigation systems to ensure operational readiness.
* Work closely with the Operations Manager to implement schedules, work plans, and process improvements.
People & Site Management
* Support workforce planning, training, and supervision to maintain safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with WHS, biosecurity, and company operating procedures.
* Coordinate equipment and resource usage to meet production objectives.
* Maintain accurate production and operational records within the ERP system.
About You
* 3–5 years' experience in farm, nursery, or horticultural operations, ideally in soft fruits or similar crops.
* Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams to meet production goals.
* Practical understanding of crop management, irrigation systems, and farm safety requirements.
* Experience in chemical spraying operations and maintenance of agricultural equipment.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and/or farm management systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
* Previous experience in a large‑scale agricultural or nursery environment.
* Understanding of continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
* Experience in staff supervision, training, and performance development.
