THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you a sociable and caring Dentist looking to join a very busy and thriving practice that has been a pillar in the area for over 20 years?
There are more patients than available clinicians to service them. This is a huge opportunity as you’ll be taking on the books of an outgoing dentist relocating interstate to undertake specialisation training. You’ll walk into a full patient book, a waitlist and a captive, loyal audience of patients.
Due to the volume and variety of dentistry coming through you’ll have the opportunity to do 5 years of dentistry in 2 years. You’ll be occupied and have a rewarding clinical and monetary experience without breaking a sweat.
This is a comprehensive dental practice, and its services include implants, full-mouth rehabs, dentures, crowns and bridges, veneers, clear aligners, endodontics, surgical extractions, and general dentistry. You can practice what you like without anyone looking over your shoulder.
If you're based in Cairns, you may also have one-on-one mentorship time with the Principal Dentist on the drive up to the practice daily.

THE PRACTICE
This privately owned practice is one of the pillars of Mossman and the greater Cairns region and is led by an experienced principal dentist and a switched-on management and leadership team (also ex-dentists).
The patients are plentiful in numbers and engaged, so there is a huge opportunity for you to come in and provide top-notch care and treatment planning and make a difference in the provision of comprehensive dentistry.
The philosophy is centric on being upfront and transparent with patients, taking the opportunity to educate them and ensuring that patients are comfortable.

- You are a sociable, engaging Dentist with a growth mindset and prioritise patient care and patient experience
- You have a friendly chairside manner and have the ability to communicate well and make anyone feel comfortable
- You have the ability to build relationships, hold conversations, build trust and educate a patient base – perhaps you may have worked in an environment with a patient base like this before;
- You take professional development seriously and further education is highly regarded
- You may be open to performing (or learning) other complex dental procedures and you are comfortable performing general dental procedures
- You have AHPRA registration without conditions
- You hold current professional indemnity insurance
- You have a growth mindset and are always open to improvement and learning new things
- You are a team player
