We are looking for hard working and enthusiastic full time 1st Year Apprentice Bakers to join our team at Bakers Delight Melton (no experience necessary). Apprentices who are either in their 2nd or 3rd year are also encouraged to apply.
Completing an Apprenticeship with Bakers Delight involves more than just going to school or training. Our Apprentices are hands on from day one. You will learn the art and science of baking through formal training, through one‐on‐one coaching and support from baking team members and through practice, practice, practice.
This role involves early starts (from 4am) and you will operate on a rotating roster which will include weekend work.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
* Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery
* Assisting the Production Manager with stock control and production expenses
* Learning recent skills and products
* Providing delightful customer service when required
Qualifications and Skills
* Have a passion for baking
* A positive attitude and thrive in a team workplace
* Have basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Be reliable and committed to the role
* Be prepared to work hard and get your hands dirty

To be eligible for an Australian Apprenticeship you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
