Join our Facilities Maintenance team and play a key role in maintaining and improving community buildings, infrastructure, and assets.
What You'll Do
* Maintain, repair, and improve City buildings, facilities, and assets
* Perform hands‐on trade work while coordinating contractors and small projects
* Support preventative maintenance programs and ensure safe, efficient operations
* Manage work orders and respond to maintenance requests across the organisation
What You'll Bring
* Trade qualification in Carpentry (or relevant trade) with at least 2 years' experience
* Strong practical skills across general building maintenance, repairs, and equipment use
* Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
* Solid problem‐solving skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks
* Good computer skills and experience using work order or asset management systems
* Current White Card and C‐Class Driver's Licence (additional tickets like EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights are desirable)
