About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Digital Marketing Consultant with 6–8 years of hands‐on and strategic experience across social media, SEO, performance marketing, marketplaces, and content‐driven growth. This role requires a blend of consulting, solutioning, pre‐sales, proposal creation, estimation, and post‐sales delivery oversight. You will be a key contributor in shaping BoltIn's digital marketing solutions for SMEs across Australia, NZ, USA, Canada, India, and the Middle East.
This is not an execution‐only role. You must be comfortable leading client conversations, diagnosing digital challenges, conceptualizing solutions, and orchestrating delivery with in‐house and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand client goals, challenges, industry dynamics, and competitive landscape.
* Conduct digital audits, growth diagnostics, and opportunity assessments.
* Develop tailored marketing strategies across all BoltIn offerings (SEO, SMM, performance, content, marketplaces, etc.).
* Design end‐to‐end digital marketing solutions with clear value propositions and ROI alignment.
* Support sales with pre‐sales pitches, presentations, solution walkthroughs, and demos.
* Prepare and finalize high‐quality proposals, capability decks, project approaches, and estimates.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams (tech, creative, analytics) to convert opportunities into revenue.
Project Planning & Execution
* Translate approved strategies into actionable roadmaps and execution plans.
* Coordinate with internal teams for delivery across SEO, SMM, paid ads, content, creatives, and marketplaces.
* Define KPIs, measurement frameworks, dashboards, and reporting structures.
* Ensure timely execution, quality outputs, and performance optimization.
* Review analytics, lead performance reviews, and provide recommendations.
* Manage client communications, expectation setting, and stakeholder alignment.
Core Digital Marketing Competencies
1. Social Media Marketing (SMM)
* Organic content strategy, calendar planning, and engagement planning.
* Paid social strategy development and campaign planning.
* Influencer strategy knowledge is a plus.
2. Modern SEO (Very Important)
* Deep understanding of semantic SEO, topical authority, E‐E‐A‐T, and search intent.
* On‐page: schema, content optimisation, clustering, internal linking.
* Technical SEO: audits, crawl budgets, site speed, indexation, Core Web Vitals.
* Local SEO, Google Business Profile optimisation.
* Experience with tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console.
3. Performance Marketing
* Google Ads: Search, Display, PMAX, Remarketing.
* Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads.
* Strong command over bidding strategies, conversion optimisation, A/B testing.
* CRO: landing pages, UX improvements, heatmap tools.
4. Marketplace Marketing
* Amazon marketplace marketing & advertising (PPC, SEO, A+ content).
* Experience with listing optimisation, keyword strategy, pricing, promotions.
5. Content Marketing
* Ability to guide content strategy for blogs, landing pages, emails, videos.
* Experience with semantic content planning & topic clustering.
* Working knowledge of AI‐driven content workflows.
* Storytelling and brand voice alignment.
6. Analytics & Reporting
* Strong ability to interpret data, trends, and performance indicators.
* Tools: GA4, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, CRM/marketing automation tools.
* Ability to translate analytics into actionable insights and decisions.
Additional Skill Sets (Highly Relevant at BoltIn)
* Strong proposal writing, scoping, and documentation skills.
* Ability to conduct discovery workshops with prospects & clients.
* Estimation of effort, pricing models, and solution costing.
Technical & Marketing Automation Knowledge
* Understanding of HubSpot, Zoho Marketing Automation, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, Zepic (bonus).
* Comfortable working with web teams on website changes, landing pages, conversion funnels, and SEO fixes.
Industry Knowledge
* Familiarity with SMEs, eCommerce, service businesses, education, real estate, retail, and healthcare is advantageous.

* Ability to lead with clarity and drive execution.
* Can work in a structured, deadline‐driven, and multi‐project environment.
Required Experience
* 6–8 years in digital marketing across strategy, execution, and consulting roles.
* Demonstrated experience in pre‐sales and solutioning.
* Experience in building proposals and estimates for SEO, SMM, paid ads, content, and web projects.
* Proven track record of managing and delivering successful digital marketing engagements.
* Exposure working with global clients is a plus.
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
* SEO certifications (Moz, SEMrush, HubSpot)
* Marketing automation certifications (optional bonus)
