Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy (Clinical Education) – UNSW Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
Responsibilities
* Primarily responsible for experiential learning (clinical placements and simulation) throughout the pharmacy program.
* Deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to education-focused initiatives within the university's teaching and learning communities.
* Contribute to curriculum development and improvement in clinical education and develop assessment strategies for undergraduate and/or postgraduate learners.
* Engage in professional development and demonstrate teaching effectiveness with evidence of curriculum design in clinical education.
* Support the expansion of the pharmacy program and uphold educational excellence aligned with UNSW Education Focused roles.
Qualifications
* A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience
* General Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
* Knowledge and experience in clinical areas relevant to the practice of pharmacy and the ability to deliver appropriate care
* Active engagement with discipline knowledge and professional development
* Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
* Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g., discipline-based curriculum design in clinical education)
* Knowledge of industry or experience with work-integrated learning (desirable)
* Level C: advanced clinical knowledge and the ability to deliver person-centred care; leadership in teaching and inclusive learning culture
