Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Administrator to join our dynamic project delivery team.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account. This position is ideal for a driven professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced site-based environment and contributing to high-performing project teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation, review and administration of subcontract packages
* Letting and negotiation of subcontracts
* Progress claims assessment and payment processing
* Cost forecasting and budget tracking
* Variations management (upstream and downstream)
* Procurement of trades and suppliers
* Preparation of monthly cost reports
* Contractual correspondence and record keeping
* Assisting with project financial performance and risk management
* Liaising with site teams, consultants and subcontractors
About You
* 5+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator within the commercial construction sector.
* Experience working for a head contractor (Tier 2 or reputable Tier 3 builder)
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* High attention to detail and organisational ability
* Proficiency in construction software (e.g. Procore, Jobpac, Cheops or similar)
