About the Role
We are seeking skilled Carpenters to join our Housing NSW Operations Team on a Full-time basis.
This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team delivering reactive, preventative, and general maintenance across government housing properties.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general residential maintenance and repairs across government housing properties
* Replace flyscreens, kitchen cupboards, and other minor carpentry fixtures
* Patch and repair walls, doors, and other structures as needed
* Conduct makesafe and reactive maintenance in response to urgent repair requests
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A current driver's licence
* A white card
* The ability to work independently and get the job done without needing close supervision
* An organised and structured approach to planning and completing your work
* The ability to execute work to a high standard
* A highly motivated and proactive attitude
* A strong commitment to quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems
