About the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Directorate
The WHS Directorate’s primary focus is to foster a culture of safety through proactive measures, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in health, safety, and wellbeing practices.
We envision a culture that prioritises both physical and psychological safety in the workplace. The WHS Directorate is committed to fostering an environment where safety and wellbeing are seamlessly integrated, empoweringresar workers to positively impact the lives of Western Australians while ensuring Communities remains a great and safe place to work.
To achieve this vision, the WHS Directorate will develop, implement, and continuously improve the Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) to align with legislative requirements and communities’ needs. WHS strategies will support Communities broader goals, focusing on reducing harm, injuries, and associated costs.
The Roles
The WHS Directorate are seeking to establish a pool of suitable candidates to fill any permanent and temporary vacancies that arise in the following Level 4 and Level 5 roles over the next 12 months:

With guidance, Consultants provides consultancy and advisory services to managers and employees on the effective implementation and use of the Department’s WHS Management System and other WHS systems, policies, standards, and processes.
