We are seeking applications from experienced and committed early childhood leaders to join Launceston Church Grammar School as the Manager of Early Learning Centre (ELC).
About the Role
Launceston Church Grammar School is seeking an experienced early childhood leader to manage its Early Learning Centre on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Head of the Junior Campus, this position incorporates the role of Nominated Supervisor, with responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and ACECQA requirements.
The Manager of ELC builds strong partnerships with families, supports smooth transitions into Prep, contributes to enrolments and community engagement, and works collaboratively with the OSHC Supervisor to oversee the School's Outside School Hours Care program. As part of the Junior Campus leadership team, the role actively contributes to the life and values of the School.
As part of this role, you will be required to:
* Provide educational and operational leadership for the ELC
* Fulfil the responsibilities of Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements.
* Lead, support, and develop ELC staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture.
* Ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and wellbeing outcomes for children.
* Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, rosters, routines, and events.
* Manage budgets and resources in consultation with the Head of the Junior Campus.
* Support smooth transitions from the ELC into Prep.
* Collaborate with enrolments and marketing teams and represent the ELC at tours and community events.
* Oversee the OSHC program in partnership with the OSHC Supervisor.

* Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Confident educational and operational leader, committed to child wellbeing, inclusion, and high-quality learning outcomes.
* Highly organised, adaptable, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with children, families, staff, and leaders.
* Collaborative, reflective, and resilient, with a genuine passion for early learning.
* Committed to continuous professional learning and improvement.
* Strong ICT capability and ability to integrate technology into learning programs.
* Alignment with the values and Anglican ethos of Launceston Church Grammar School.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
* An understanding and commitment to the School's policies in relation to Child Safety
* Current/valid Working with Vulnerable People Card (WWVP)
* National Police Check or willingness to obtain
* Current HLTAID012 First Aid qualification in an Education and Care Setting.
