Mobilisation Manager Role
Job description:
* We are seeking a skilled Mobilisation Manager to lead the operational mobilisation implementation of new housing growth projects.
This is a pivotal role ensuring new services are implemented effectively, on time, and to a high standard.
The Mobilisation Manager will work collaboratively with various teams across the organisation to ensure effective handover and smooth transition of Housing Growth initiatives into Operations.
The key responsibilities of this role include leading the operational mobilisation implementation of housing growth projects, developing and overseeing operational mobilisation plans, timelines, and resource schedules, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met by providing proactive project management, acting as the central point of contact for stakeholders during mobilisation, and facilitating communication and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.
An additional responsibility will be to manage timelines, risks, and governance processes to ensure successful delivery, support change management, communication, and workforce planning to support successful implementation of new housing, monitor project progress, provide reporting, and embed continuous improvement.
The Mobilisation Manager will conduct post-implementation reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements for Success
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within the social or community housing sector;
* Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Housing, Social Services, or a related field;
* Formal training in project/program management highly regarded;
* A proven track record in service implementation or operational mobilisation in the housing, social services, or community sectors;
* Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and operational delivery experience;
* Exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills;
* Ability to work effectively in government-funded or regulated service environments;
* Current driver's licence.
