Job Description

• Prepare and manage financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Oversee month‐end and year‐end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decision‐making and identify cost‐saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to support the organisation's financial planning.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
• Provide support to the Accounting Finance department in other ad‐hoc tasks as needed.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Qualified accreditation such as CA or CPA (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and analysis within the engineering industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
