About the Role

We are seeking a Business Support Intake Officer to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the FDV Hub and supporting the Intake & Assessment team.

This role combines administrative coordination with client intake responsibilities, ensuring referrals are managed efficiently and clients can access support services without unnecessary barriers.

Key responsibilities

* Providing administrative support including records management, correspondence, and coordination of meetings and events
* Managing referral inboxes and responding to referrals within 24 business hours
* Coordinating and supporting the intake and referral process for new clients
* Ensuring accurate collection and recording of client documentation and intake data
* Maintaining client records and data integrity in the Client Record Management System
* Supporting clients to connect with appropriate support services within the FDV Hub and partner organisations
* Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and distributing documentation
* Ordering and maintaining office supplies and coordinating general office maintenance
* Supporting activities, internal meetings, and events including coordination of venues and catering
* Providing professional and timely responses to enquiries from staff, clients, and external stakeholders

* Full-time role – 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday in Kalgoorlie
* $38.65 per hour + superannuation

You'll Need

* Experience in a similar administrative or intake role within a community services environment
* Demonstrated skills in administration and office coordination
* Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
* Experience working in culturally appropriate and respectful ways with diverse communities
* Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
* Formal qualifications in administration or office management

Pre-employment requirements

* Current C or A Class Driver's Licence
* Working With Children Check
* National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
* First Aid Certificate
