The Strategic Engagement Unit plays a vital role in implementing student engagement initiatives, with a broad remit that encompasses statewide student engagement programs, regional youth engagement services, and policy development.
The Manager will provide strategic leadership, ensuring the outcomes align with the department's agenda, and provide high-level advice to senior officers and stakeholders. They will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the unit's priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in education or training policy development. They will be able to analyze complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
A degree in a relevant field, such as education or public policy, is highly desirable, as is prior experience in a similar role. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
