We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our client's team.
In this role, you will deliver end-to-end HR and payroll support, ensuring the effective implementation of company policies, procedures, and people strategies on site. You will act as a trusted advisor to supervisors and senior leaders, providing practical guidance across a broad range of human resources matters while maintaining accurate and compliant payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding).
* Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and workforce initiatives on site.
* Deliver accurate and timely payroll processing in line with relevant legislation and company requirements.
* Provide advice and guidance to site-based supervisors and senior leaders on HR and payroll matters.
* Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company standards.
* Assist with reporting, audits, and workforce data analysis as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Demonstrated experience in a generalist Human Resources role, including payroll processing.
* Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance, and best practice HR processes.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate IV in Payroll Administration.
* Certificate IV in Human Resources Management.
