About the Role
As a Laundry Officer, you play a vital role in maintaining the daily rhythm of a secure facility while contributing to a supportive, team-focused workplace. You'll coordinate and direct day-to-day laundry operations, ensuring services meet required standards and support broader prison operations. The role blends hands‐on work with meaningful supervision, providing on‐the‐job instruction to prisoners and helping them build skills and confidence.

Qualifications & Eligibility
* Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
* Male applicant only.
* In accordance with COPP 11.2, it is mandatory for same‐sex persons to undertake searches of prisoners.
* Position identified as a Genuine Occupation Qualification in line with S27 (2)(d) of the Equal Chance Action.

Salary and Location
Salary: $90,403 - $91,978 per annum plus 12% Super (POA). Location: Greenough Regional Prison.
