Business Development Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Business Development Specialist to join our Sales & Marketing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients and event planners.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase revenue and market share.
* Source new opportunities and follow up on leads to secure sales.
* Presentation and negotiation skills to prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts.
* Conduct site inspections and represent the hotel on interstate sales trips.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to contribute ideas and initiatives that support business growth.

Requirements:
* Experience in a Conference & Events role at a 4 or 5-star hotel or event centre.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Patient, persevering, and never giving up mindset.
* Professional presentation and excellent communication skills.
* Passion for hospitality and desire to succeed in Sales.
* Understanding of event operations and client needs.
