**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' physical health, fitness levels, medical history, and goals.
In this role, you will develop individualized exercise programs based on assessment findings, client preferences, and evidence-based practices. You will implement and supervise exercise sessions, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure adherence and safety.
You will also monitor clients' progress closely, regularly reassessing goals and adjusting exercise programs as needed. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, physiotherapists, and dietitians, is essential to ensure holistic care and optimal outcomes for clients.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of exercise physiology, rehabilitation techniques, and related fields. They will be able to educate clients on exercise techniques, healthy lifestyle behaviors, injury prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans. The Exercise Physiologist will also stay informed about advancements in their field through continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Exercise Physiology
- Registration with ESSA
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commitment to a client-centered approach, with a focus on empathy, respect, and cultural competence
- CPR and first aid certification (current)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology: A bachelor's or master's degree in Exercise Physiology is required for this role.
- Registration with ESSA: Registration with ESSA is necessary to practice as an Exercise Physiologist in Australia.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with clients, colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams.
- CPR and First Aid Certification: Current CPR and first aid certification is mandatory for this role.
