Overview
North West Alliance (NWA) is a Veolia and North West Alliance (NWA) joint venture that provides environmentally-sound waste and water management solutions, as well as a suite of industrial services. This role is part of North West Alliance, a 50/50 joint venture between Emu Nest and Veolia, focused on sustainable development and client-focused waste management.
The Opportunity
The right candidate will coordinate site-based waste management of waste resources, requirements (equipment, collection, schedules), and operations including transport, consolidation and disposal of waste products. The ideal candidate will also focus on continuous improvement and innovation in the performance of work over the life of the contract with the client, building and maintaining a waste management plan to ensure servicing is transparent and agreed with key client focal points.
What you\'ll be responsible for
* Act as the conduit between the client and North West Alliance for all waste management and general enquiries.
* Provide technical advice for new, difficult or hazardous waste streams.
* Landfill management.
* Collect data and report KPIs associated with the contract.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives, recycling initiatives, waste minimisation programs.
What you\'ll need to be successful
* Proven experience in an autonomous role.
* Experience in service coordination.
* Skilled in relationship management with client/external customer.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience in solving time-critical issues.
* Ability to prioritise workload.
* Waste/environmental services experience (desirable, not essential).
