Field Lead - Carpenter Position
We are seeking an experienced Field Lead - Carpenter to join our team. This role involves providing high-level customer service, managing key stakeholders, and supervising building trades to maintain, repair, and replace facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate first response and on-site ground control for estate upkeep outages impacting asset availability.
* Implement and issue the Ventia Permit to Work System, conducting site audits of work activity safety documentation and operational process confirmations as required.
* Participate in subcontractor and project management quality control activities, validating work scope completion and value for money assessments.
* Provide site access coordination, including inductions, access to drawings, maps, and escorts for subcontractors.
* Maintain positive relationships with key client and customer representatives.
* Ensure all information regarding works is entered into relevant systems in a timely manner.
* Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the Infrastructure Services Manager.
Requirements:
* Trade or tertiary qualifications or experience in at least one of the following: Carpentry/Building/Plumbing/Handy person.
* Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Strong ability to interact collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages and ability to learn computerised software.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
