Overview
Founded by tradies for tradies, Trade Academy Western Australia is an established and innovative Registered Training Organisation (RTO 52719). We offer a unique scope of accredited qualifications that provide quality training outcomes for a 21st century building and construction industry. We pride ourselves on the development of innovative and industry endorsed training strategies that promote quality training and assessment outcomes for learners and their employers.
The Academy provides nationally recognised trade training for primary trades such as Carpentry, Brick and Blocklaying, Scaffolding and general construction via apprenticeships and traineeships.
Trade Academy Western Australia is contracted by the Department of Training and Workforce Development to provide training via the Jobs and Skills WA state initiative. We have consistently performed well under this contract since 2017 and continue to do so.
Academy apprentices have had strong representation in the World Skills Australia events showcasing their talents on the competitive stage. Academy apprentices have been competing in the state competition since 2022 with podium finishes earning invites to both 2023 and 2025 national competitions in Melbourne and Brisbane respectively. Strong finishes in the national arena secured a place at the international event being held in China, in 2026.

We\'re a proactive RTO, encouraging only the most motivated applicants to join our micro team of VET sector professionals.
