We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Launceston branch, overseeing day-to-day operations while building a high-performing, profitable team.
This role is suited to a hands-on leader who understands trade operations, customer service, and commercial accountability. You'll be supported by an engaged leadership team while being trusted to run the branch as your own.
About the Role
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the Launceston branch, including people leadership, financial outcomes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing a team of electricians and apprentices
* Managing workflow, scheduling, and job allocation
* Driving branch profitability and meeting agreed performance targets
* Overseeing quoting, invoicing, and customer follow-ups
* Maintaining strong customer relationships and service standards
* Ensuring WHS compliance and quality workmanship
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team culture
* Working closely with senior management to grow the branch
About You
You are a motivated and practical leader who enjoys responsibility and autonomy. You understand that a successful branch balances people, performance, and profit.
You will ideally have:
* Electrical trade background
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and margins
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Organised approach with strong time-management skills
* Current electrical licence and manual driver's licence + other licenses/certificates (solar & restricted fridge are favourable)
