Associate – Insurance Litigation
A leading insurance practice is seeking an Associate to join its Sydney team. This role offers exposure to high-value and complex disputes, with a focus on professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ liability, management liability, and recoveries. You will work directly with senior practitioners while managing matters independently and mentoring junior lawyers.
What you will do
- Manage complex insurance litigation matters from start to finish
- Advise clients across construction, engineering, and financial services industries
- Handle high-value disputes, including D&O;, professional indemnity, and recoveries
- Contribute to the development of junior team members
What we are looking for
- Minimum 4 years’ defendant-side insurance or construction litigation experience
- Robust knowledge of Australian litigation and court processes
- Ability to manage files with autonomy and precision
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, organised, and committed to excellence
