The Position
This role forms part of a committed team that plays a vital role in caring for, maintaining, and improving AlburyCity's tree assets.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Assist in the implementation of tree maintenance and replacement programs
* Assist with tree inspections and associated reporting
* Assist in the maintenance of other parks, reserves, sporting grounds and landscape areas of AlburyCity, when required.
* Use a variety of specialised plant and equipment.
* Assist in the preparation of designs and coordinate projects as necessary.
Qualifications and experience
* Certificate III in Arboriculture/Horticultural discipline or relevant industry experience
* Construction Induction Certificate (White card)
* Demonstrated relevant work experience in Arboriculture/Horticulture
Hours
Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
