Commercial Risk & Forecasting Lead – QS
for a privately owned construction and development business based in Townsville.
This is a senior,
forward-looking commercial role
supporting the Director with forecasting, risk analysis and strategic commercial insight to enable confident decision-making. The role is intentionally focused on what's ahead? Not retrospective reporting or compliance.
Our client delivers high-quality projects across commercial, industrial and resource infrastructure, hospitals and allied health facilities, training and education environments, sports, tourism and entertainment precincts, and mixed-use developments.
Role Purpose
Provide
clear, future-focused commercial insight
across cashflow, project margins, tenders and development feasibility, helping leadership identify risks early and make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare forward-looking cashflow, margin and pipeline forecasts
* Analyse project and tender financials and model pricing and risk scenarios
* Identify commercial risks and opportunities early
* Support development feasibility and business planning
* Act as a trusted commercial partner to the Director
What We're Looking For
* 7+ years' experience
in construction, infrastructure or development
* Background as a
Quantity Surveyor (commercial focus)
or senior commercial professional
* Strong forecasting, financial modelling and tender support capability
* Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working at senior level
