In this role, you'll take the momentum built during pre‐opening and convert it into long‐term commercial success. With a strong handover from the pre‐opening Hotel Manager (who will be stepping into their next opportunity with us), you'll be well positioned to understand the unique proposition of the hotel, its target market and the operational benchmarks that underpin performance.
Our modern, purpose‐built serviced apartment accommodation has been designed for corporate and long‐stay guests, positioned close to the business parks, infrastructure and local amenity that matter most to them. Your role is to ensure the business not only performs, but stabilises and grows with intention.
Your focus will be to embed efficient operations while building strong local and corporate relationships that drive sustainable revenue. At Veriu Group, our hotels are structured and operated like small businesses. Our Hotel Managers are commercially minded leaders who understand that success comes from staying relentlessly focused on the drivers that matter.
Supported by our passionate shared services and operations teams, you'll bring initiative, commercial thinking and a hands‐on leadership style to:
* Optimise revenue, cost control and operating profit
* Develop and execute local business development and growth strategies

* Oversee daily hotel operations in line with our Veri‐Best Framework
* Elevate guest experience and reputation management
* Ensure full compliance and lead critical incident management
* Oversee facility and asset management

From day one, you'll shape the culture, set the performance standard and establish your hotel as a commercial and operational benchmark within the portfolio.
Skills and Experiences

The successful person must have:
* Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
* Be willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate and Liquor Licence (at Veriu expense)
* Demonstrated experience developing and leading a high‐performing team
* Expertise in problem solving and influencing business performance
* High standards of attention to detail and communication (written & verbal)
* Passion for personal growth and pushing business performance limits
* High emotional intelligence
