We are seeking an experienced carpenter for an immediate start to join our dynamic and friendly team.
Responsibilities
* Interpret and follow construction plans and blueprints to build and install various wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings.
* Measure, cut, and assemble wooden components to construct framing, walls, floors, stairs, roofs, and other structural elements.
* Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other finishing touches to complete the construction process
* Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols.
What you'll bring
* Proven experience as a Construction Carpenter (Trade Qualification), with a minimum of 2 years in the trade.
* Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
* Must have your own tools.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
* Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery.
* A commitment to safety, quality, and efficient work practices.
* The ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing job site conditions.
* A positive attitude, willingness to learn and being proactive.
* Valid driver's license.
* White Card (Construction Induction Card).
* Ability to pass a Police Integrity Check.
