**About The role**:
Are you an organised, personable, and proactive individual looking to be the face of a busy and dynamic department? We are seeking a Front Desk Admin Officer to join our Cardiology team, providing high-quality support to both inpatient and outpatient clients.

As the first point of contact for the Cardiology CSU, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of front desk and administrative duties across the department. Working alongside a friendly team of six admin officers, you will also liaise closely with our Cardiac Cath Lab and Diagnostic Centre. This role is Monday to Friday 07:30 - 4:00pm
- Greet and assist patients on arrival and departure
- Book inpatient diagnostic tests and outpatient clinic appointments
- Provide administrative support to clinicians, including typing medical letters
- Manage the Referral Information Management System (RIMS)
- Coordinate the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic schedule
- Monitor and respond to the main Cardiology inbox

Foster a strong team environment and work collaboratively with colleagues

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer-facing admin role preferred
- Strong typing skills desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive, professional attitude
