Building Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of residential strata properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on delivering excellent resident service, maintaining functionality and safety, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilities Management: Oversee routine and emergency maintenance of building systems, coordinate regular inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
* Resident Relations: Serve as main point of contact for residents, address inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensure resident satisfaction by responding to service requests and resolving issues effectively.
* Health and Safety: Monitor safety protocols and procedures, conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, and maintain compliance with current WHS and Strata regulations.
* Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Assist in preparation and management of building operating budgets, track expenses, manage invoices, and ensure financial performance aligns with budgetary goals.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years' experience in Building/Facilities Management.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills, with ability to prioritise competing tasks.
* Effective and timely communication skills at all levels.
* Positive and proactive financial management in accordance with budget and delivery times.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards.
* Demonstrate Leadership and Communication skills, and Technical Knowledge.
