Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Trades Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a residential role with a 4-day working week, located in Esperance, Western Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team at the facility, planning work to meet Chute Solutions and customer delivery expectations, nesting and planning of required jobs, processing materials in line with process controls around pre- and post-heat treatment, maintaining Sigmanest production records, updating Sigmanest stock levels with incoming and outgoing stock, communicating directly with software tech support to resolve issues, participating in stock takes as required, maintaining the Plasma machine in accordance with recommended maintenance regime, communicating directly with Farley tech support to resolve issues, planning and undertaking plasma bed maintenance, attending and participating in meetings (toolbox, production, job planning, safety) and providing input as appropriate, and training and mentoring additional employees to operate the plasma and nesting software.

* Understanding of thermal cutting processes
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly desirable: previous experience with running a CNC Plasma and previous experience with nesting parts in CAD Cam software such as Sigmanest
