Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as a Food Services Assistant We're looking for experienced professionals to bring their skills to our team on a casual basis. If you take pride in your work, possess a friendly & positive attitude, have experience in food services within a healthcare environment or hospitality and enjoy providing exceptional customer service, this role is for you
This role requires the successful candidate to be available to work on a 7-day rotating roster, AM and PM shifts.
Shift Schedule
AM shift – 5:45am – 2:30pm
PM shifts – 2:30pm – 9:00pm and 4:30pm – 9:00pm

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer/patient service by preparing and serving food throughout the facility / designated area, including, setting up, plating, and distributing food and beverages and by participating in food safety processes
Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required
Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff to create an experience that makes a difference
Be comfortable working with equipment such as food trolleys and carrying food trays
Available for on-call shifts
Qualifications
Authority to Work in Australia
Experience in Healthcare/hospitality (preferred)
Working with Children check (if relevant)
Commitment to service excellence
Strong time management and prioritisation skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Keen attention to detail
Work well independently and within a team
