About the Role Business Manager Full‐Time 5‐Years Fixed Term Contract
We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our College Leadership Team. This senior position provides stewardship of the financial, human and physical resources of the College, ensuring strategic and long‐term planning to support the College's Education Plan and Master Planning processes.
The Business Manager will lead financial operations, oversee ICT, marketing and payroll systems, manage compliance and risk, work, health & safety and ensure the effective maintenance and development of all College facilities. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, business acumen and a commitment to the Catholic ethos of Mount Carmel College.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Formal qualifications in Commerce or Business (CPA or CA qualified).
Proven experience in financial leadership and strategic planning within a complex organisation.
Strong understanding of business models for contemporary schools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and negotiation skills.
Ability to lead and manage teams.
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
Hold a current acceptable Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance & screening to work in Catholic Education South Australia.
Hold current certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect in Education and Care Settings.
First Aid Qualification.
