About the opportunity
This is a newly created Executive Assistant & Office Manager role offering the opportunity to work closely with the CEO of a growing underwriting agency. Sitting at the centre of the business, you will provide high-level executive support while also taking ownership of day-to-day office operations. This role suits someone who is proactive, highly organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-level support to the CEO, including calendar, travel, and meeting coordination.
* Act as a gatekeeper, managing priorities, correspondence, and confidential matters.
* Prepare reports, presentations, agendas, and track follow-up actions from meetings.
* Oversee daily office operations, including facilities, vendors, and workplace management.
* Support onboarding/offboarding and coordinate internal events and team engagement activities.
Skills and Qualifications
* 3-5+ years' experience in an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar hybrid role.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
* High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working in small to mid-sized businesses.
