Overview
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, working with numbers, and being involved in the construction process from start to finish.
You will work closely with the Director and be involved in a wide range of responsibilities including estimating support, supplier coordination, project administration and client selections.
There is potential for this role to grow into a full-time position as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with project estimating and pricing
* Sending documentation to suppliers and trades for quoting
* Compiling and organising returned pricing
* Maintaining cost tracking and budgets
* Coordinating material orders and procurement
* Assisting clients with material and fixture selections
* Maintaining organised project documentation
* Supporting general operations of the business
You will also have the opportunity to visit sites and see projects progress from pricing through to completion.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Highly organised and detail-focused
* Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets
* Confident communicating with trades, suppliers and clients
* Proactive and capable of working independently
* Interested in construction and the building process
* Experience in construction administration, estimating, or project coordination is highly desirable.
* Experience with construction software such as Wunderbuild is advantageous but not essential.
